Perfect Everything about our stay was perfect. Paddington waited for our late arrival, he offered us another room as not all rooms were booked. We chose for the upgrade. All rooms they shown us were beautiful, it felt like home. The breakfast was perfect. Special request were possible. A lovely omelet and a fresh rooibos tea. Besides Paddington, the owner was also a very kind man. Happy to give advices around Cape Town, also gave other travelers advice how to behave in town. The garden is a great place to take a rest after a climb on the table mountain. Lovely veranda. Would be also nice to have the breakfast outside on hot mornings. All rooms( I think) had AC, great on hot days. Also for the colder days they have heaters. Thanks for your great service and kindness.

Three day stay in Cape Town We spent three days in Cape Town to close our 2-week journey in South Africa. Our stay at Cape Standard was great, really and despite a capricious weather, because the rooms where very comfortable and nice and because Paddington, the manager, was very helpful to make our stay a good short experience of the city.

excellent endroit pour séjourner à Cap Town Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce petit havre de paix en pleine ville. Un endroit superbe, un très beau jardin , on oublie la ville ... Dommage pour nous car il ne faisait pas assez chaud pour profiter de l'extérieur. Tino et Paddington sont très accueillants et toujours disponibles. Un pied à terre parfait pour visiter la ville. Nous avions les deux chambres attenantes avec balcon au dessus de la piscine, superbe et très calme. On recommande et espère revenir !!

3 great nights at Cape Standard Great rooms, clean, modern facilities, delicious breakfasts and super friendly staff. Awesome location too, very central, with great running routes onto the Sea Point promenade. Close to lots of good restaurants.

Great base to explore CT If you're after something in between a city hotel and a guesthouse, this is the place. Clean, great & friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Really hits the spot. And if you are aesthetically minded and want to avoid the repetitive drivel found in large hotels, this will be some relief - super interiors.

Le quartier de Green point est un bon point de chute pour pouvoir découvrir La ville et sa région, dans un quartier calme et sécurisant. Le style de la maison est fait avec beaucoup de goûts. Mais il faut surtout faire remarquer l’hospitalité et la gentillesse du personnel : Tino et Paddington ont tous fait pour nous faire passer un agréable moment. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix, je recommande +++

Amazing atmosphere Location is very close to waterfront. Very quite and safe. David and Paddington are really great and friendly. Always ready to help and to give precious advice. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast ok. We have not used the swimming pool (August) but it is the cherry on the cake for the hot months!
